The Volleyball continued their winning ways by DOMINATING the Lady Eagles of Columbia City. The Lady Railroaders (4-1) won in three straight games in convincing fashion , 25-16, 25-15, 25-17. Great job Ladys. Coach Richardson said it was the first complete game they have played all year! I second that!
The Lady Railroader Soccer team also defeated Heritage tonight in the opening game of the ACAC Soccer season. The final score was 2-1. Kady Hahn had an assist and a goal. I think it was Kelsi Martin who scored the goal on a rebound off of the cross bar.
The Boys Soccer team was defeated by Heritage but fought through regulation to a 2-2 tie. They lost in the final seconds of the second overtime. This team is greatly improved and has some really talented soccer players. IF you haven't seen them play, you should make plans to come and watch a game. Keep working at it Railroaders!
No question that Men's Soccer has stepped it up this year. There is a spark of excitement on offense, and defense is rock solid. With some seasoning, faith in themselves, and continued intensity we can expect this team to do well in the ACAC tournament.
ReplyDeleteI agree! Sometimes it's hard to turn the corner from being competitive and winning those tight games. The girls volleyball team is a good example of that. They were very competitive last year, but have found a way to win with confidence this year. It's fun to watch kids when they are having success!
