The Boys got 2nd at Central Noble Invitational tonight. Todd Frickey once again led the team with 1st place finishes in the 100 and 400. He also placed 5th in the 200, and ran on the 2nd place 4x100 relay team. Christian Miller, Jamarius Mitchell, and Desmond Kessler were the other team members. Drake Landes got 2nd in the long Jump, RObert Deventer got 2nd in Discus. Coach Clifford said he is proud of his guys and they are peaking at the right time.
I didn't get specific results from the Girls at New Haven. But the team placed 7th. We didn't have a great night and our best place was 3rd.
Both teams compete at home vs. Southern Wells and Woodlan on Tuesday night.
Although you might have already heard, the Golfers tied last night vs Fremont and defeated Prairie Heights. In Golf, the first highest 4 scores are counted to the team total. Then the 5th golfer is used to break the tie. Well, the score was tied through 4 golfers and the fifth golfers for each team were also tied. Because it was a non-conference match, no tie breaker was played. The Golfers head to Auburn tomorrow to participate in the Baron Classic Golf tournament at Bridgewater.
