Good and Not so Good!

Do you want to hear the Good news first or the Bad News?

I never know how to answer this question. So I will start with the Bad News first.
The Varsity Boys Basketball team were defeated tonight by Fremont at the Bateman Gymnasium. The lone bright spot of the night was Senior Eric Custer dominated inside. Eric Scored 26 points but the Railroaders were soundly defeated 84-64. Although the offense was not as good as we're used to, it was the defense that really struggled tonight.  You have to give Fremont credit. They out hustled us on both ends of the court.  The Railroaders started out with a 12-4 lead and then never recovered  the rest of the game. The other bright spot of the night was the JV victory on a last second 3 point shot by Kylan LaMotte.

The Good News is the wrestlers bounced back after the tough defeat to South Adams last week by beating Snider in a make up game from November. Garrett won by a score of 40-34. The Railroaders won 8 of 14 matches. Brayden Moreau and Hayden Lee remained undefeated for the season. The match came down to the final match with Carunchia pinning Snider for the victory.
