IHSAA Student-Athlete Tip of the Week (3-26-12)
"Promoting education based athletics in Indiana"
One of the best pieces of advice that you can receive from coaches; when you get tired in a game or practice, keep your hands off of your knees. In other words, don't lean over to catch your breath. By doing so, you may be encouraging your opponent.
It is no different in the classroom. A student-athlete should never lay their head on their desk without the permission of the teacher in charge. It shows disrespect to instruction!
