The Boys Basketball team had their chances tonight. We fell behind by over 9 points on several occasions. We then would charge back and make it a game. But in the end the Railroaders didn't have enough for a pretty good Lakewood Park Program.
As usual we battle for every point and possession we can get. Matt Singleton had a great night tonight, scoring 16 points. That is something we need more often. Drake had 17 points to help the Railroaders. We really had a poor first half especially on the Boards. We gave way too many second and third shots. Our defense was good but we had too many holes that gave up some easy buckets.
We have one more game to get us heading the right direction in the post season. The Railroaders make their first trip to Norht Manchester to take on the Squires. There are many ways to get there. I and going to take i-69 to Highway 24 toward Huntington. Then before I get to Roanoke I will head west on Indiana 114. That will take you all the way to North Manchester. Once you get into town their are plenty signs to get you to the High School. If you have difficulty finding it, the High School is located near the college.
