4-0

Wow! What a dominating performance from our Girls Basketball Program tonight. The night started out with a great win by our C-Team followed by a come from behind win by our JV team and then came the main event. I have not seen such a dominating half of Basketball from our girls, ever. The girls team really worked together as a team to lead 34-12 at the half. We dominated rebounds, shooting, defensively, and in about every other facet of the game. We came out with great intensity and focus like I have not seen in a long time.  We put it on cruise in the second half and ended up winning by a score of 55-45. I love the real TEAM work and that stood out win you look at the leading scorer . Laura Moynahan had a fantastic night leading the team with 12 points. But, the stat of the night was Megan Getts with 6 assists.  Usually the roles are reversed, but good teams take what they are given. Jordyn Knott also had 10 points, Megan Getts had 9 points, Heahter House and Brandi Dawson had 8 points each. What a great effort!

On another note..............What a great Crowd we had tonight. I was so impressed with the Student Cheer Section. I have not seen that kind of support in the past 5 years. The Band and Cheerleaders were great. We had the Train Horn fired up and the atmosphere was dynamite!  Thanks  Garrett for supporting our athletic teams.

Next Up the very tough Angola Lady Hornets on Tuesday Night. This is also a triple header night starting with a C_Team game at 5pm, followed by the JV and Varsity. Good Luck Ladies Keep the Big Train Rolling.
