OK tomorrow night the girls basketball team kicks off the official start of the 2010-2011 Winter Athletic Season. The girls team travels to Churubusco to take on the Lady Eagle Basketball team. The JV team will tip-off at 6pm. The Varsity will start at about 7:30pm.

The girls team will travel to Lakewood Park Christian School on Thursday Night. This is an addition to the schedule for the 2010-2011 season. The East Noble Girls game has been moved to the end of the season and will be a part of a Boy/Girl Doubleheader at East Noble.

A lot of people ask why we don't do more Boy/Girls Doubleheaders. The answer is simple. Financially it is better to have the games on separate nights than as a single night. You don't make the same money putting them on the same night as you do playing on different nights. We actually have two of these nights now. The first is the Southern Wells Conference game. This game is in late January and the reason we scheduled this as a B/G doubleheader night is because of travel.  The other game, as mentioned earlier, is the B/G East Noble Doubleheader. The reason we scheduled this doubleheader was purely to keep it on the schedule with the addition of Lakewood Park. It might not be as good financially but it allowed us to change our schedule.
