The first home game of the season ended with the same result as on the road. The Railroaders defeated Prairie Heights 63-51.
The Railroaders had 3 players in double figures with Connor Meehan leading the team with 19 points, Drake Landes had 18 points and Brandon Porter had 11 points. The entire team played great defense during the first half ending the second quarter 38-25. But, Prairie Heights fought back in the 3rd quarter and got is as close as 4 points on several occasions. The officials called a very close game and the Railroaders had a difficult time adapting to the calls. The Railroaders played everyone on the bench and really wore down the Panthers. Connor Meehan became a real force on the inside. They had a real tough time keeping him down. He was a force scoring and rebounding.
The Boys host Woodlan next Friday Night in the first ACAC matchup of the young season. Good Luck Team!
