IHSAA Student-Athlete Tip of the Week (11-7-11) "Promoting education-based athletics in Indiana”

If you get injured in a practice or game, don't be ashamed or afraid to go to your coach or team trainer and let them know about your injury.

Injuries are a part of all sports and it is hard to compete when you are not at full strength. You can also cause serious injury to your body if you don't correctly address the issue.

The same reasoning applies in the classroom.  If your grades aren't up to par and you need to see them improve, turn to your teacher and ask for help.

More serious injuries and academic deficiencies can sometimes be prevented by early intervention!
