What a great game against a good opponent. The mighty Railroaders soundly defeated the Heritage Patriots 35-14. The game was never in question. It was senior night and the seniors were in control all the way. Brayden Moreau scored on a 60 yard interception return. Todd Frickey had two TD's of 57 and 67 yards, and Jamarius Mitchell added a 2 yard touchdown, for the seniors. Junior Brandon Porter wasn't going to let the seniors steal the headlines so he decided to add a 35 yard TD run. Brandon also had a great night defensively and on special teams.
Heritage ends the season with 4 losses all of them to quality opponents. They are a good team and will face Jimtown in the same sectional as the Railroaders.
The Railroaders end the regular season at 7-2 and will travel to Tippy Valley to take on the Vikings. They lost tonight to Whitko who is also in the same sectional as GHS! The tournament is going to be exciting!
