Mighty MO!

WELL, Not sure where to start! We lost 42-14 to a Leo team with 26 seniors!

Football is a strange game of momentum swings. Leo dominated the first quarter with big plays and great defense. They led 13-0. Then Garrett had a great come back scoring to make it 13-7 on a Todd Frickey TD. Then on the next defensive series we manhandled the Lions. We dropped them deep in their territory and got the ball back on the Leo 25 yard line. We were dominating them and the momentum was all our way. Then one play changed the game. We fumbled a pitch. Todd pounced on it but it squirted out and Leo recovered it. They ran the ball back for a 74 yard TD. GAME! After that we couldn't stop them. It was  32-7 at halftime. We had a terrible first series and they scored easily to make it 39-7. We kind of lost our composure. Leo showed a lot of class by running double tight, kicking a field goal, and putting their JV in at the quarter. We scored to make it 42-14 and the game was over.

I think we need to put that one out of our mind and concentrate on Heritage and Senior Night. Finally, we get to play at home. It will have been 2 days short of a month since we played at Memorial Field. We will bounce back and end the regular season with a win against the Patriots!
