ACAC Tournament Draw

Today the ACAC kicked off the 89th Boys and 38th Girls Basketball tournament with the Tournament Draw held in Decatur at the Back Forty Restaurant. In attendance were all the ACAC Coaches, Athletic Directors, Administration, and local media.  This tournament is the oldest tournament in the state of Indiana, second only to the IHSAA tournament. The Boys tournament has been won by 19 different schools including schools that no longer exist. The Boys have never won the ACAC tournament. It's time we did!  The girls tournament has been won by 7 different schools including the 3 times by the Lady Railroaders.  This tournament is great for our schools, our players, our coaches, and our  communities. Hilyard Gates was a key leader of this tournament when the championship game was played live on wkjg tv. We recognize Hilyard Gates with our MVP awards for  the tournament. The Allen County Sheriff's department also is a key sponsor of the ACAC Tournament Sportsmanship Award.   We love this tournament. Even the draw is a big part of the history of this tournament and the draw today was completed much as it was in its inception. So here is our road to the ACAC Championship!

Tuesday Night, January 10th the Railroaders will travel to Leo High School to take on the Lions. The Girls will tip-off at 6pm followed by the Boys game at approximately 7:45pm.

The Girls winner will play at the Allen County Memorial Coliseum on Wednesday Night vs the Winner of the South Adams vs Woodlan game.  The Lady Railroaders would play at approximately 7:45pm.

The Boys also would play the winner of the Woodlan/South Adams game on Thursday at the Coliseum. Start time would be approximately 7:45pm.

The Championship games will be played on Saturday. The Girls will play at 10am and the Boys game would follow at noon.  Good Luck to all the teams as we prepare for the Tournament!
