Close One!

At certain points in the game tonight, the Railroaders looked like they would walk away with the easy win. But , a very talented and Athletic Woodlan team just wouldn't go away. The Railroaders "eeked" out the victory over Woodlan 62-59. Statistically the game was as close as the final score.  The Railroaders shot a season low 40% from the field while Woodlan shot 45%. Garrett shot 72% from the free throw line and Woodlan 71%. We had 14 turnovers to 19 for the Warriors. Probably the key stat to the victory was we committed only 9 fouls and Woodlan only took 7 free throws while the Railroaders shot 18 and made 13. That was the difference in the game.

Leading the team tonight was Drake Landes with 24 points, Joe Martin with 14 points, Brandon Porter with 11 points and Todd Frickey with 8 points. Todd led the team with 4 steals and Joe led the rebounding with 7.

The Railroaders travel to Fremont on Tuesday to take on the Eagles. Good Luck Railroaders!
